In the heart of the Ecrins National Park, this hike will take us along the path that led to the conquest of the massif's highest point: La Barre des Ecrins at 4,102m.
After just a few metres of ascent, the torrents meandering over the vast Pré de Madame Carle flat will take us through some beautiful meanders.
The hiking route through the glacier Blanc, in a remarkable mineral and glacial universe, gives the site its exceptional dimension.
The glacier Blanc refuge faces the large, beautiful and wild north faces of the Pelvoux, the pic Sans Nom and the Ailefroides, and offers a splendid balcony trail to the foot of the tongue. What a program in a high-mountain setting.
