A mythical peak towering above the famous col of the same name. The Grand Galibier offers spectacular 360° panoramic views of the Écrins, dominated by La Barre and La Meije, the Goléon, the Aiguilles d'Arves, Mont Blanc, the Viso, the Queyras... In a word, a magnificent hike leading to the mythical belvedere of the Grand Galibier, from which you can admire almost the entire French Alps.
On the program: a unique panorama, numerous crystal-clear lakes, shy fauna (ibex), wild valleys that bear witness to the Ice Age, all under the blue skies of the Hautes-Alpes.
The hike takes place partly off-piste, often on little-marked paths with aerial passages.
