Cévennes National Park
"I've been doing professional beekeeping for a few years...it's really a partnership and exchange with the living and the natural world."

Very attached to the Cévennes region where he was born, Bastien produces honeys with changing colors, just like his living environment, and has won several medals at the Miels de France competitions.

I have been a professional beekeeper for several years a few years, this is my 5th year. It is really a partnership and an exchange with the living and the nature.

The advantage of the Cevennes is that, i would say, we are in areas protected areas.

There are practically only wild flowers and we also the chance to have different terroirs. We have the schist in the Cevennes, we have the granite in Mont-Lozère and we have the limestone on the Causses. Çallows us to make very different honeys in a very limited space.

Ji have a small sales room on the spot. Sf people are in demand I can explain them a little bit some things from here and in connection with the Parc national.

It is, i think, important to preserve at least some areas like the Parc national des Cévennes or other national parks in France.

Tveryone wins, as much for the inhabitants as for the people who come to walk around, the animals, the insects, the plants...everyone is a winner.
