The Azun nature campsite is located in a preserved landscape of the plain of Aucun in the Val d'Azun, offering a breathtaking view on the pic du midi d'Arrens and the pic de Gabizos.
The Lanne family, Joëlle, Yves and their son Fabien offer grassy and shady pitches but also "Nature and Wood" chalets.
We have chosen to remain a small campsite with 25 chalets and 25 free pitches, and to turn essentially to nature, both for the activities we offer and for the preservation of our site. Moreover, our cottages are really inserted in the natural space, and their composition is privileged with natural materials.
In recent years, we have further enhanced our approach by providing an electric bike rental service, or by setting up a wellness area made of wood with our Nordic bath, says Joëlle Lanne.
The campsite is also a refuge for the French League for the Protection of Birds, and nearly 25 species have been identified on the site. Bird discovery activities and ornithology, fauna and flora outings are organized from the campsite.
