Tourisme & Handicap

Located in the south-east of the Massif Central, between the volcanoes of Auvergne and the Cevennes, the Mont Lozère is an old granite massif,
wild and preserved. Known mainly for its Stevenson's path with the beautiful stage by the summit of Finiels, it dominates
the Cevennes valleys and the Gorges du Tarn.

With the association Handi Cap Evasion and a group mixing able-bodied and disabled people, we will evolve during 6 days in the heart of the Cevennes National Park, the biggest International Dark Sky Reserve in Europe. And to contemplate this jewel, nothing better than to climb together on the roof of Lozere, at 1699m of altitude! The atmospheres encountered during this stay will be varied: between forest environment, peat bogs and bare ridges. We will follow the Tarn river from its source, making our way through the granite chaos.
