The Emparis plateau, a unique place in France... The itinerary in balcony on the Meije Massif and the picnic at the edge of the lake, in front of the Girose Glacier will not leave you unmoved. High altitude lakes, the Massif de la Meije, the "alpages wars" and the flora will be there!

Material and equipment :

> To be provided by participants :

  • 20-25 liter backpack
  • A pair of hiking boots with semi-rigid soles and high uppers
  • A pair of hiking poles (can be borrowed)
  • Standard mountain and altitude hiking clothing (Gore-Tex or K-way jacket, fleece)
  • Water bottle (minimum 1liter per person)
  • Snacks

> Equipment supplied and/or made available (on request and subject to availability) :

  • Hiking poles
  • Binoculars Hot drinks (tea or coffee),
  • Chocolate and digestif at lunchtime
