Material and equipment :

To be provided by participants :

• 20-25-liter backpack
• A pair of hiking boots with semi-rigid soles and high uppers
• A pair of hiking poles (on loan)
• Standard mountain and altitude hiking clothing (Gore-Tex or K-way jacket, fleece)
• Water bottle (minimum 1liter per person)

Equipment supplied and/or made available (on request and subject to availability):

• Hiking poles
• Binoculars and spotting scopes
• Hot drinks (tea or coffee), chocolate and digestif at lunchtime
