In pursuit of the chamois with the appropriate equipment, we will travel the mountain to observe and understand Rucicapra rupicapra in its environment. Evolution on and off trail.

Respectful observation with a terrestrial telescope Life and habits of the chamois.

Duration: 4 hours

Ascent: 400 to 600 m

Topics covered: Life and habits of the chamois, hunting plans and management, fauna and flora

Target audience: All ages (+7 years)

Materials and equipment :

> To be provided by participants :

  • 20-25 liter backpack
  • A pair of hiking boots with semi-rigid soles and high uppers
  • A pair of hiking poles (on loan)
  • Standard mountain and altitude hiking clothing (Gore-Tex or K-way jacket, fleece)
  • Water bottle (minimum 1liter per person)

> Equipment supplied and/or made available (on request and while stocks last) :

  • Hiking poles
  • Binoculars and spotting scopes
  • Hot drinks (tea or coffee)
