With its shaded paths and its diversity of flora, this outing in the heights of Saint Louis is a very good approach to hiking in Reunion Island.

Meeting at 7:00 am at the traffic circle of the Gol factory in Saint Louis, then departure by carpool to the starting point of the hike : the picnic area of Les Makes in Saint-Louis.

The hike starts at 8:30 am.

Equipment to bring :

• at least 1.5L of water,
• hiking shoes,
• a good sun and mosquito protection,
• a rain jacket,
• a light fleece,
• snacks and picnic.

Walking sticks are recommended (can be lent according to availability).
