Outing "Lake and refuge of Goléon : on the tracks of the Cristalliers" - Alexandre Puech

From the hamlet of Valfroide (1872 m), we will go up the vast valley dug by the Lombard glacier, in order to reach the Goléon refuge near the lake of the same name.

In addition to offering an unforgettable panoramic view of the high peaks of the Meije massif, the Goléon lake is located at the beginning of a wide grassy valley that extends to the foot of the aiguille du Goléon and the Aiguille Méridionale d'Arves.

We will not fail to take height in order to observe the lake from above but also to understand the infatuation of the crystallisers on the sector in the Ribbons!
