Rucher aux Marmottes is located in the commune of Beuil, not far from Valberg. The farm has 250 beehives, most of them in the Alpes Maritimes. Several types of honey are produced, including heather, mountain, thyme, lavender and Provence savory honeys.
Savory honey is produced in the commune of Beuil. Savory is a highly fragrant aromatic plant widely used in Provencal cuisine. At this altitude, it flowers late, around the second half of August.
