The mountain in winter: adaptation of animals and men

After a visit to the National Park House in Briançon, we will go through the winter mountain on snowshoes or skis and discover the way of life of animals and men!
Our objectives for the day are to understand :
- how animals and people have adapted to this harsh environment,
- how to reconcile the new winter sports practices with the preservation of the animals and the flora.
Topics covered: flora, fauna, history and buildings, rules for practicing winter sports.
Target audience: families with children (+ 12 years old), adults, children without parents (+ 12 years old), schoolchildren (from 5th grade to 12th grade).
Languages spoken: French and English.
Material and equipment :
- to bring : clothes adapted to winter, anorak, hat, gloves, sunglasses, small backpack with drink and picnic.
- equipment provided and/or made available: Snowshoes/sticks. For ski touring, participants will rent their own equipment (contact us).
