Hike to the Soufrière:
This is, rightly, the must-see hike in Guadeloupe: you don't get to the top of an active volcano every day, and being able to concretely realize the power and energy that emanates from the center of the earth will be for sure an outstanding experience of your stay. Besides, it is not really a hike, but a real trip: besides the climate which changes strongly, you will cross a succession of varied ecosystems, very well preserved thanks to the action of the National Park. Then you will reach the summit plateau...where you will not even feel like you are on the planet Earth anymore! Yoann will make you enjoy this rare experience by giving you all the explanations on the geology, the volcanism and the vegetation of this exceptional place! If you are lucky, the view from the top is splendid, but be aware that it happens very rarely: it is one of the wettest places in the world! So, of course there is cold, wind and frequent fog, but be aware that it would be a mistake not to get over these inconveniences and to deprive yourself of this visit.

Rates 40 € for adults, 30 € for children (up to 18 years old).
Difficulties: this hike is classified as difficult: it is accessible to people who are able to walk for 4 hours on relatively uneven terrain, without major physical problems (breathing, balance, heart, etc.).
Equipment equipment: closed shoes, rain gear, water, snacks and a light sweater (fleece) for the children. If possible, bring contact lenses for those who wear glasses.
