Dedicated to the observation of Marmotta marmotta, this day hike will give you a naturalistic understanding of this endearing little mammal rodent in an alpine setting.

Target audience: All ages (+5/6 years) / can be adapted for disabled visitors (please enquire) Languages spoken: French, English, Danish.

Material and equipment :

> To be provided by participants :

  • 20-25 liter backpack
  • A pair of hiking boots with semi-rigid soles and high uppers
  • A pair of hiking poles (on loan)
  • Standard mountain and altitude hiking clothing (Gore-Tex or K-way jacket, fleece)
  • Water bottle (minimum 1liter per person)
  • Snacks

> Equipment supplied and/or made available (on request and subject to availability) :

  • Hiking poles
  • Binoculars Hot drinks (tea or coffee),
  • Chocolate and digestif at lunchtime
